I am not sure, and i know you might not understand at first, but how to get all of that little red writing in the top right corner with all of the planes ifno, to show up. I can get the ILS freq, and line up with the runway perfectly, but i cannot tell/determine how far i am from it, (gps doesn't really help), and i cannot tell how high i should be. is there a way to autoland, or even a way to see how far i am from the runway, because in my cockpit, i can't see it. THANKS

  1. How about posting this question in the 'Games' area?

You might get more responses, since this is a Flight Sim question....

    Thanks.

  2. well there's red writing at the top left hand corner.... The way u see it is SHIFT+Z. if you do that combo a couple times it takes you through different pages of info

  3. Go to airplane > visual flight path > and enable it. It will show red boxes for you to fly through all the way to the runway for the ILS freq tuned.

  4. Shift Z will give you your altitude.. speed, direction, wind speed and direction and the latitude and longitude of your aircraft on the map.. it does not however tell you how far you should be away from the runway in order to land... however, a real world pilot told me a tip that actually works quite well in Flight Simulator and that is: if you are 1,000 feet above the ground, you should be three statute  miles away from the runway using between -500 and -700 fpm descent rate on final approach... I hope i have helped... if not feel free to email me...
