FSX video......?

Question

After I finish recording a flight video, how do I open up the file and edit it? What program do I need to open it with? Do I need to buy something? Can I change the file type?

Your "Flight Simulator" question belongs in the "GAMES": section.  This is the "TRANSPORTATION" category for questions about REAL, ACTUAL aircraft, not for questions about  computer games

Ok first if you are talking about when you record a flight video with Microsoft flight sim x you cant view the video only on the game for somereason so for that you must download a friendly screen recording that does just that (records the screen) i would use fraps but its $30 to buy its the best one ever there are free ones but dont try them it will make your game lag when you record! i do have a copy of fraps that i got from a friend and since i have gave it out to several people on here from past answers. so if you want you could message me if thats what you want.

Heres how fraps or any other screen recording works!

You select a button to start recording like for EX. lets say the enter key

So you open up fraps before you start FSX then minimize it and start playing the game and as you fly or watch one of your flight videos on the game you press enter to start recording whats on the screen and press enter again to stop the recording its as simple as that! then when your done go to my documents and open fraps and there is your video! then put it into windows movie maker and make it into whatever or just upload it how it is!

try somthing like microsoft movie maker it is kinda hard to figure out but play around with ita little and you should get it
