FTP File Sharing service?

Question

hi ... i was wondering if there is any website or a server that provides the FTP file sharing service

like u create an account and search ... just like limewire does (you install the software and search for a file) ...

FTP isn't a great way of obtaining files from the net. To get files through FTP you need a FTP Client, and you need to know the host server, port, and password. FTP sharing is usually used within online communities to share specific files. FTP clients cannot simply search the web for content.

A P2P service like Limewire, or Shareaza is ideal for your needs, although relatively unsafe. A popular source of file sharing is BitTorrent.
