Question:

FTP JPEG upload corrupt?

I've been trying to upload a JPEG to my Cox webspace and it always comes out corrupt...any ideas?

I've used Windows Drag & Drop, command-line FTP (ascii and binary), and tried a couple different usernames. It's not always the same part corrupt either.

Could this be related to my poor cable-modem connection (-14.8dbmv down/52.9 up) or something else?

  1. Corrupt images uploaded via FTP is always the cause of uploading via ASCII.

Always upload your images using Binary. Make sure your ftp program is told this. Try Ftp Surfer... it will be much easier to use and is also drag and drop... search it.
