When, where and for how long.

I wish to support such protests.

Have the government put a news blackout on the forthcoming activities.

I heard it was starting on SATURDAY.

  1. To what end. Believe it or not, the price you pay at the pump has little to do with oil company pricing policies, beyond maintaining their meager profits. In the U.S. the federal government makes more on each gallon of gas than than the oil companies do. And the government risks nothing to explore, develop, refine, market and distribute this product.

The price you pay at the pump is determined by the economic laws of supply and demand. If the oil companies colluded to set a price, you can bet your last dollar that at least one company would be smart enough to break with that and steal a large part of the market.

  2. Then you have heard more than me.

I doubt it could be blacked out, too many ppl involved, but even if it was, the guys n girls in their Lorry's will make us proud.

  3. first Ive heard but i hope your right but i think the government changed the legislation since the last protest so it will be more difficult this time

  4. no! it was last saturday.....bugger you missed it!

  5. wont do any good anyhoo.

way to much apathy in this country now.

if we all boycotted the fuel stations for 1 week you would see the price tumble, but people only think of theirselves nowadays.

  6. Tooting Broadway station, Saturday 15th December 10am.

  9. Tell me more. I haven't heard anything about this.

Why start on a Saturday, a  Monday would be far more effective surely?

In the UK a litre of petrol costs @ £1.05....

The actual cost of the fuel is 35p, the rest is TAX!!

I'll join in the protests but my war is not against the petrol companies.

  10. Something needs t b done it worked the last time, the ppl need t stick together more often. Bring it on. lol

  11. we as americans need to remember how to protest, it seems like we have forgotten how and become a passive lethargic country.  if you want to support more protests then you should start a petition for what you feel strongly about, get people involved and dont feel ashamed to voice your opinion, it is your right as an american.
