Brendan Rodgers, the newly appointed http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 manager, has always been a big fan of Borini, but are Roma right to be parting ways with the Azzurri international.
The Bentivoglio-born player was born in a family who were passionate supporters of Bologna, and as a consequence, Borini grew up to be a supporter of the Felsinei and entered football through the Bologna reserve team in 2001.
Borini started playing football at the age of nine years, and went on to hone his talents in the Rossoblu youth system till 2007.
Chelsea came in for the young star and snapped him up from the Rossoblu http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 reserves team in the 2008-09 season. Chelsea
added the prodigious talent to the first team in the next season, and he made a total of 3 appearances in the next two seasons for the senior team, he was demoted to the reserves team, and he managed to show his talent once again.
Chelsea decided to loan the young striker to Championship side, Swansea City, which was being managed by Rodgers, former Chelsea reserve team boss. Rodgers had great faith in the abilities of the then Azzurrini star, and even though
the striker joined at the tail end of the season, Borini was instrumental in the Swansea cause. He scored an impressive six goals in nine matches for the Swans and won a penalty in the Coca-Cola Championship’s play-off finals. Brendan Rodger’s men went on
to win promotion to the Premier League.
Despite his impressive display for the Jacks, Borini had made his mind up to return to the Serie A, after falling out of favour with Chelsea. Borini had signed an agreement with Parma while he was at Swansea City which saw him
move to the Serie A outfit in 2011. He was later loaned out to Roma and after impressing Luis Enrique, Roma bought 50 percent of the rights of the player.
After his loan spell ended, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 won the blind auction of Fabio Borini, to acquire 100 percent of the player’s rights.
Brendan Rodger’s arrival at Liverpool sparked rumours of a move for the former Chelsea youth star making his way back into the Premier League. The striker was on international duty for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926, who were battling it out in the European
Championships.
The Azzurri international initially denied rumours linking him with a move to the Premier League and commented that he wanted to stay with the Giallorossi. However, after persistence for the striker’s services by Rodgers, and a
formal bid for the striker, Roma seem to be considering the situation.
Zdenek Zeman has come onto state that he would not block any move of the striker to the Premier League outfit.  Liverpool are understood to have offered around 10 million Euros for the striker.
Walter Sabatini, Giallorossi Sporting Director, confirmed the Anfield outfit’s interest in the striker and Borini’s representative also commented that they are considering the deal put forth by the Premier League outfit.
Borini’s talents are in no question, which can be seen from the fact that the Italian national team head coach, Cesare Prandelli, opted to take the former Swans’ striker in the Euro 2012 squad. Prandelli had quite a lot of strikers
at his disposal, however, he chose Borini ahead of them all. Borini was preferred to Mattia Destro, which shows the regard and admiration that the former Swansea player commands in the eyes of Cesare Prandelli.
It has been stated that AS Roma are looking to mount a bid for the Siena forward, Mattia Destro, from the funds collected by the sale of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fabio-Borini-c13163. Destro scored twelve goals for the newly promoted outfit, and is keen on a move
to a bigger club.
Fabio Borini has a lot of potential and has always been regarded highly by all the managers he has worked with. His work ethic and professionalism is second to none, and particularly in a time when youngsters are being criticised
for losing their way due to the hype surrounding them, Borini has to be given credit for planting his foot firmly in the ground. He has all the attributes to make it big and Liverpool would give him a good platform to make his mark, especially with Brendan
Rodgers at the helm.
