Reja’s future at Stadio Olimpico Rome has been the subject of huge uncertainty in the recent past, as the tactician handed his resignation after falling out with club management. However, he had to take back his decision after
he was convinced by the Biancazzurri bosses.

to be trusted.
The former Three-Lion boss insists that the battle for Scudetto is still wide open, and any team can go onto win the Serie A title.
Capello believes that the derby win will boost Lazio’s confidence for the remainder of the season. He insists that the squad respects Reja a lot, and the manager should be retained at the club regardless of the outcome of the ongoing
season.
While talking to the reporters, Capello said:
“Edy is worth believing because they are six points behind the lead and it is not much to recover in the remaining rounds of action. Often you see teams fighting for the League with less than 10 rounds because they hope to bridge
any points gap in the springtime, which is when the championship is decided.”
“So, it seems logical and right that we point to Lazio’s League position as interesting. The League is not already decided and no-one can rule out a surprise.”
The 66-year-old took over as the manager of Lazio in 2010, and helped the club to finish fifth in the previous season. The Biancocelesti are in prime position to seal a UEFA Champions League place for the next season.
Milan atop the league standings, Juventus are second with Lazio on the third spot. The capital side will have to be at their very best in order to hold a chance of winning the league.
Lazio will face Bologna in their next game on Sunday, March 11.
