The former England national team manager has backed the likes of John Terry and others to take the England national team to the quarterfinals of the 2012 EUROs but he has warned the Three Lions that Ukraine will give them a
tough test in the group stages...
The England national team will make the quarterfinals of the European Championships if one rates what Fabio Capello has to say about the Three Lions. The former Real Madrid and Juventus manager left the England national team setup
as their manager just a few months before the European Championships were about to kick off in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ukraine-c3032 as there were differences between him and the Football Association over John Terry’s captaincy.
Eventually it was the F.A that won as they stripped Terry of the captaincy and Capello walked away from the England job leaving Roy Hodgson to take over and to lead the Three Lions into the European Championships.
Under http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 undertook a successful qualification campaign for the 2012 EUROs but England never really impressed in major tournaments as they failed to progress past the round of 16 stage in the FIFA 2010 World
Cup after losing out to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904. Capello who still has close affiliations with some of the players in the England squad said that according to him, the England national team will reach the quarterfinals of the European Championships.
England drew against France in their opening encounter but now they are set to face http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899, of course there was an
emotion - I felt it. England are part of my heart, I worked with the players and the people in the country for four years."
He added, "They have key players in important positions. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/John-Terry-c18895 is the spirit of the team. He drives the players in front of him. They will qualify because I
still feel like it is my http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684. I hope Roy is happy after the third game. I want them to win.”
