The English national team captain started with Phil Jones in the midfield region for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 on the previous weekend. Capello trusted Jones to play in a central
midfield position to test his ball retention skills and the Manchester United defender extremely well and was unlucky not to score a goal after a fantastic solo run.
Jones has been on fire ever since his transfer to Manchester United in the summer transfer window of 2011 as his fantastic performances for the Red Devils have allowed him to breakthrough at the international level with the England
national team. Capello stated that it is really difficult for managers in club and international football to find someone who can play like Jones.
He went onto elaborate that during his extensive managerial career, he has previously found just two players of the same talent and calibre, namely Fernando Hierro of Real Madrid and Franco Baresi at Milan. Hierro led Real Madrid
during the Galacticos Era when Zidane, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fabio-c13152 Capello as well.
He stated, "Phil can play in different positions but always at the top level. This shows what he has - he is a talent. What is so good about him and makes him such a big talent is that when he receives the ball he plays always
without fear. He makes good passes and finds good solutions - the best solution every time. I know something about football and the solution that he chooses every time when he receives the ball always the best. It is a talent."
Capello will hope that Jones retains his displays at Old Trafford as he will want his talented defender to receive as much game time as possible at Manchester United before England’s EURO 2012 commitments next summer.
