Fabio Capello urges Chelsea to loan out Josh McEachran, who earns praise from Frank Lampard
England national team manager http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fabio-c13152 Capello revealed he felt Chelsea youngster Josh McEachran would benefit greatly from a loan move for a few months in the upcoming season. The 18-year-old England under-21 international has been highly impressive for the
international team as well as the Blues but Capello feels he still needs more first team experience.
Like Arsenal youngster http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jack-Wilshere-c17463, who spent half a season on loan with Bolton Wanderers, Capello feels McEachran would profit from a loan move instead of remaining with the Blues. While the 18-year-old has managed to impress new Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas
and his teammates in pre-season, Capello did not think McEachran would receive the amount of first team football he required to develop.
It was after his loan spell to Bolton Wanderers in 2010 that Wilshere established himself as a regular in the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 first team. It was also during that time that Capello noticed the gifted midfielder and called him up to the senior England squad. He has
so far made five appearances for the England senior team and looks to retain his place if he maintains his form.
McEachran previously said he wished to do the same, spend some time out on loan to get more experience. He said he looked up to Wilshere, who had managed to evolve as a player over the past season, a change which had mostly been brought about by his loan
spell at Bolton Wanderers. There has currently been no mention by Villas-Boas over a possible loan move of the young starlet.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Frank-Lampard-c14097 revealed he was extremely impressed by the young midfielder, along with the rest of the Chelsea squad. Despite his young age McEachran had shown class and maturity beyond his years in his appearances for the Blues in their
pre-season tour to Asia, where the Blues won the Barclays Asian Trophy without conceding a single goal.
Lampard was full of praise for the 18-year-old midfielder, he said while speaking to reporters:
“I think Josh does give us something different. He gives us something in the middle of the park, a great elegance in the way he plays.
He receives the ball really well, he can play a killer pass, he's stronger than he looks with his frame. He's going to be a top player.”
Lampard predicted McEachran would have a great future with Chelsea if he continued with his current form and development. While the 33-year-old admitted it was hardly unlikely for McEachran to start all the games in the upcoming season, he would most definitely
go on to feature more for the London side than he had done in the past season.
The Chelsea midfielder said:
“There will be a position for him, he's not going to play 50 games this season, but you can see from pre-season already that he is going to be involved a lot more, and that's great for him.”
Since making his debut for the Chelsea senior team in 2010, McEachran has made a total of 17 appearances for the Blues in all competitions. His excellent form earned him the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 Young Player of the Year 2011 award, that along with his terrific performance
in pre-season have earned him an improved role in Villas-Boas squad in the new campaign.
