The central striker at Juventus has gone on to remark on his neat finish against Chelsea and mentioned his surprise at getting the same opportunity twice in a week.
It was a must win game for the Turin giants and they turned on the style at the Juventus Arena, while they were up against the might of the reigning European Champions. Juventus had faced off Chelsea in their first group match after the 2009-10 season where
they were a little nervous in their play. They were pegged back in that match in the opening instances as the Blues exploited the early jitters by the Bianconeri outfit.
However, they came back strongly in the next half and they made it more difficult for the Stamford Bridge outfit. They drew against the reigning European champions and Quagliarella had been the scorer against the Blues as well, as he scored the leveller
for the Turin giants.

While commenting on the opening goal against the Blues, the striker at the Bianconeri outfit commented on his finish and claimed that he was lucky to get the opportunity he had. He also reflected that he was extremely happy with his performances of late
and the goals that he scored for the Turin giants.
He was quoted to have said:
“It was almost impossible to have the same opportunity, only this time I deflected it low and that probably helped it to go in. A striker is always happy when he scores. It was also my third start in a row, which hadn’t happened in almost two years.”
Conte has made it clear that he would be rotating the strikers that he has at his disposal, and given the hot streak of form Quagliarella is in, it would be no surprise to see him starting in their next match.
