Fabio Quagliarella will not leave Juventus, claims agent Beppe Bozzo – Serie A Transfer Update
Juventus striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 suggesting that the Italian international would be joining the
current Serie A champions, AC Milan.
The Italian international has not been a part of the Juve XI this season. Coupled with injuries and poor form, head coach Antonio Conte is not impressed by the striker. A move away from the Turin giants seems a certainity.
The Diavolo are keen to acquire the striker on a loan deal for the second half of the season. The defending champions recently lost their primary striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Antonio-Cassano-c6302, who went through a heart surgery and needs time to recover and return to the field.
However, Quagliarella’s agent believes that his client will not go to Milan for the remainder of the season and would remain a Juventino. The agent was recently talking to Calciomercato.it, where he revealed intentions of the Juve forward.
"Quagliarella will certainly be staying at Juventus for the long term because the club are counting on him.” he said.
Bozzo revealed that a number of Italian and other European clubs have approached for Quagliarella; however, their offers were ignored. The representative believes that his client belongs with the Bianconeri and he can contribute to the outfit’s progress
in the future.
"There have been clubs asking about him as we approach the transfer window, but I have declined every offer. I am sure he will be able to contribute to Juventus as he is a great striker,” concluded Bozzo.
Juve are currently keen to part ways with a few players in the attacking block as the head coach, Antonio Conte, is keen on adding more options in the midfield region.
