Fabio Scozzoli of Italy conquered gold medal of the Men’s 50m breaststroke on initial day of the 2012 FINA/ARENA Swimming World Cup in Berlin, Germany on Saturday, October 20.
Scozzoli demonstrated his astonishing efforts in the shortest breaststroke discipline and transpired on the finishing blockade for gold medal.

Barbosa was followed by Aleksander Hetland of Norway, who remained 0.01 seconds slower from his preceding swimmer and secured sixth place by clocking an effort of 27.28 seconds.
Hetland was followed by Neil Versfeld of South Africa, who suffered a loss of 0.17 seconds from his former swimmer and posted a time of 27.45 seconds.
Eighth position of the race was obtained by Ivan Duran of Croatia, who failed to make any improvement in his qualification time and ended his race with an effort of 27.81 seconds.
In addition, Scozzoli received a huge round of applause from the audience for his immaculate efforts and said that he would train harder in future to accomplish the same at superior levels of swimming.
