Manchester United’s Fabio Da Silva believes that Luis Suarez’s reaction towards Patrice Evra helped spur the Red Devils on, as they beat the Reds by two goals to one.
Manchester United took on Liverpool in the Premier League this past weekend, in a game that was being looked at for all the wrong reasons.
Going into the game, both Luis Suarez and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Patrice-Evra-c29231 had been included in their teams starting eleven.
Both the players had been involved in a racism scandal, which resulted in Suarez being banned for eight games, earlier in the season.
Prior to the game starting, both the teams stepped up to shake each other’s hands. Despite Evra reaching out to forgive Suarez and shake his hand, the striker walked past the defender and this resulted in Evra and the rest of his team getting rather infuriated
with the Uruguayan’s behaviour.
However, a number of United players, including Fabio believe that the way Suarez behaved helped spur the Red Devils on, as they looked to pick up all three points against Liverpool and teach the striker a lesson.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fabio-c13152, who sat on the bench during the game between the two teams, is quoted to have said: “I believe that in life it is always necessary to forgive.”
“Patrice wanted to forgive Suarez. In Anfield he was attacked, but at Old Trafford he offered the hand.”
“The action of Suarez was not justified. For me, to reject the hand of someone is very serious. The action of the Uruguayan before the beginning of the match increased our force to defeat http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809.
“In the ground, there was calm and the rivalry. But after the action of Suarez, the tension exploded.”
Following the incident at the game, both Suarez and Kenny Dalglish have come forth and apologized for the way the forward behaved.
Despite these apologies, Suarez’s image has taken a massive hit and the striker is no longer looked at in the same manner that footballing fans used to look at him.
It is now a wait to see just what the Uruguayan can do, in order to save his career and his image.
