The Spanish national team won the match with ease as they scored four goals past the home team, but Cesc Fabregas is of the opinion that it was not an easy fixture for his side.
Cesc Fabregas is of the opinion that the only reason why the Spanish national team was able to score these many goals is because of the fact that they play attacking football.
While speaking about the tricky fixture against Belarus while being away from home, Cesc Fabregas said:
“It was a great performance from Spain. We are glad we won the game. But, I do not believe that it was a stroll.”
Spain are currently the favourites to win all the international fixtures as they currently the European and the World champions.
The Spanish national team became the first in the history of the game to win two Euros in succession.
They first won the title back in the year 2008, and then they were able to win it this year as they became the first side in the history to do so. Moreover, they also won the FIFA World Cup in 2010.
Cesc Fabregas believes that since Spain have accomplished so much in recent years, they are always expected to win; therefore, they always have to play well.
“We are a very attacking team and we know that we have to always play well, and so we are always looking for depth and space on the field. We must continue like this.”
