Barcelona found it hard to crack their opposition’s defence during the weekend La Liga fixture and Fabregas believes that even a team like La Blaugrana can be poor at times.
The Catalan giants faced Spartak Moscow as the UEFA Champions League kicked off during the midweek.
It was a tough fixture for La Blaugrana, who had to recover from being 2-1 down and eventually won the game 3-2, thanks to a brace from the Argentinean maestro, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lionel-Messi-c22296.
After a cagey affair against Moscow, La Blaugrana turned their focus back to La Liga, where they had won four out of the four league fixtures, accumulating twelve points out of the available twelve.
The Spanish giants had to host Granada at the Nou Camp and while many thought that Barcelona will find it easy to beat their opponents over the weekend, the case was entirely different when the match took place.
Even though Barcelona won the match 2-0 and took the three points from the encounter, the score-line definitely did not highlight the whole story.
It was a really difficult game for Tito Vilanova’s men, and Cesc Fabregas believes that even http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 can perform poor at times as the competition is tough in La Liga.
While speaking about the competition in the league, the Spaniard said:
“We know every team today is difficult to beat but we have to be satisfied with how we reacted in the second half.”
While speaking about the fixture, Fabregas also lauded the performance of Granada’s goalkeeper, who he believes had a game of his life.
“It was the performance of a great team but Tono had one of the games of his life, although to begin the season well is always important.”
The Spaniard also spoke about how Barcelona have performed poorly in the recent past.
“We are aware that there will be times such as this when we are poor at times, but this week will be long and we will be more relaxed. It’s good to have won.”
Tono made some outstanding saves as Cesc Fabregas tried his luck on goal, and the Spaniard also spoke about that.
“I’m feeling better all the time and in the second half the ‘keeper made some good stops from me, but I feel well physically and I’m happy.”
While speaking about how he is doing at the Catalan club at the moment, Fabregas stated:
“I have a different http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 and it’s good not only for me but the rest of the team that we score goals. Today we had a lot of chances.”
Barcelona managed to win all three points even against a side like Granada, who were able to put up a real fight at the Nou Camp.
However, a goal from Xavi Hernandez broke Granada’s solid defensive line and Tono’s brilliant day came to an end.
La Blaugrana have now won all of their opening five league fixture and are currently eleven points ahead of the current Spanish champions, Real Madrid, who are yet to play their league fixture against Rayo Vallecano.
