The Catalan giants have started the Spanish La Liga in a perfect manner, winning all the nine points out of the available nine and Fabregas thinks it is an advantage for them.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 have managed to impress during the start of the Spanish La Liga.
With the first match against Real Sociedad and with Josep Guardiola gone, many did not think that Vilanova will be able to keep the same momentum going for the Spanish giants.
However, the new Catalan mentor was able to show the world that his side are still hungry for more silverware, as they managed to thrash Real Sociedad 5-1 in the opening fixture of the Spanish La Liga.
With the first game over, Barcelona then faced Real Madrid in the Supercopa de Espana.
Even though Barcelona won the first leg 3-2 at the Nou Camp, Real Madrid were able to win the second leg 2-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu and Barcelona had to surrender the trophy due to the away-goal advantage with Madrid had.
Despite losing out to Madrid in the Supercopa de Espana, Vilanova kept his team’s spirits high, as they were able to win both the other fixtures which they played in La Liga.
Their second fixture was against Osasuna, in which http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lionel-Messi-c22296 helped his side make a comeback, and Barcelona won the match 2-1 while being away from home.
In their latest La Liga fixture, La Blaugrana were able to beat http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863 1-0 at the Nou Camp and even though the match was quite tricky for them, Vilanova’s men somehow managed to take all three points and are currently sitting at the top of the table.
While speaking about Barcelona’s current position in the league, Cesc Fabregas said:
“It is not an advantage. Going ahead should be as natural as going behind. Top teams play the same way whether in good times or bad.”
“We just have to go on like we have done, with a positive mindset, which then gives the fans confidence and means we keep on giving 100 per cent.”
Barcelona will be taking on Getafe as soon as the Spanish La Liga kicks off after the international break.
