I broke a needle while sewing through several layers of fabric, and now my machine won't work.
I know there's no more needle pieces stuck anywhere. I took it apart as much as I could and thoroughly cleaned it.
It seems as if the bobbin case isn't turning like it should when I spin the hand wheel (gets stuck, I have to manually move it to make it turn again) and the feed dogs aren't moving as much as they should, either.
Do I need to take it somewhere, or should I just junk it and buy a new machine? (It would cost me $70 to have it looked at, I paid $40 for the used machine)
