Fabulous Island aiming to upset Ardera Heather and Saxon Glory in Owners Bonus Series - Heat 1
Ardera Heather and Saxon Glory have been declared joint favourites for the first heat of Owners Bonus Series, being held at Monmore on Monday, April 23, 2012.
However, it does not mean that the favourite pair is not going to face any difficulty on the track. Fabulous Island, who has two back-to-back wins under her belt, is well prepared to display another fascinating performance.
After missing the top spot by a short head’s distance at the start of this month, the black b***h picked up the winning momentum. On April 09, she pocked the winning cheque by a huge margin of seven and a quarter lengths.
Carrying forward her good work, the M. Burt-trained topped the chart by one and a quarter lengths last week. With two comprehensive victories to her credit, the b***h is determined to strike hat-trick.
Yet, her supporters should not forget that today’s opposition is far tougher than she faced last time around. Among her rivals, Ardera Heather and Saxon Glory seem to be the strongest contenders. Fatboyz Jack, Tyrur Kojak and Safe Head are also aiming for
win, but their chances are not bright.
According to the plan, the 480 metres flat heat is scheduled to begin at 16:08 GMT. The Grade A5 event holds a cash prize of £96, which will be given the best performer.
Saxon Glory is hungry for success these days. Ahead of his poor performance last time out, the black dog secured the runner-up position in two consecutive races. The hound need something different in order to do well today.
Ardera Heather also demonstrated a fine show at the start of April. However, she lost her rhythm after that, doing nothing special in the following two sprints. The black b***h ended up third in a 480 metres heat last week.
The stats show that it is going to be a close clash among Ardera Heather, Saxon Glory and Fabulous Island. Our vote goes to Fabulous Island, who is in slightly better shape after two consecutive triumphs. We wish the best of luck to everyone.
