Fabulous Pin pitching for victory at Nottingham – Molson Coors Maiden (Heat 2) Preview
Nottingham greyhound racing track is set to host the Heat 2 Open Race of ‘The Molson Coors Maiden 480m Trophy’ at 20:36 (GMT) tonight, February 27. The total prize money for the contest is £125.
The hounds, who are geared up to compete, include Fabulous Pin, Cavecourt Derry, Copeland Robbie, Emirates Classic, Dream On Buddy and Mottos Blue.
Out of these six runners, Fabulous Pin, Mottos Blue and Copeland Robbie are expected to notch up top three spots in the race respectively.
Here, we evaluate each of the trio in light of his/her career records and recent performances. This will help the bookmakers to stake their money wisely.
Fabulous Pin
Since starting her career in August 2011, D Firmager’s black b***h has won three races so far. Following her maiden victory on September 8, the novice runner won two consecutive races during the first two decades of February 2012.
The daughter of Bombastic Shiraz out of Fabulous March seems to be in great form at the moment. She will be looking to complete her first ever hat-trick by winning tonight’s event. Her chances to win are as high as 90 percent.
Mottos Blue
Since his debut in December 2011, the trainee of C Lister OBE has grabbed two outclass triumphs so far. He finished second and fifth in his last two outings.
The son of Droopys Scolari out of Mottos Dawn is going to run on Nottingham track for the very first time in his career. His past performances and inherent skills suggest that the dog will be able to do well tonight. However, he will have to rely on second
position as Fabulous Pin will not allow him to surpass.
Copeland Robbie
Since the beginning of the calendar year, J A White’s blue dog has accomplished two triumphs so far. After winning a race with a big margin of 3 ½ lengths on January 5, the veteran runner sealed another marvellous success on February 11.
At the moment, the son of Collision out of Copeland Pearl looks to be greatly confident. He is likely to run well tonight and finish at least 3rd.
Conclusion
Along with this trio, the other three runners also possess enough talent. Thus, the Heat 2 is going to be a heated contest. Fabulous Pin will have to struggle hard for success. Good luck to all the runners.
