Fabulous Puzzle to strike the third seasonal victory via Stadium Bookmakers Maiden Standard Trophy – Heat 1 at Nottingham
The Stadium Bookmakers Maiden Standard Trophy – Heat 1 is to get staged at Nottingham over 500 metres flat on Monday, 19th March. The prize money for the race is worth £125 and will get contested by six hounds.
Leading the lineup with the best credentials is Fabulous Puzzle, Bombastic Shiraz’a two-year-old black daughter out of b***h Fabulous March. She rolled into the new season after working out on 28th November 2011 at Nottingham over 500 metres.
The worst that she has experienced in the seven starts that she made during the season was the fifth position in a Grade A1 500 metres flat on 16th March at Nottingham. The race was won by Fabulous Ferry who clocked the distance in 30.74 seconds.
Finishing the closest to the winner was Homestead Call timing the distance in 30.78 seconds while the 6/4 favourite, University Man, could manage finishing fourth only.
Fabulous Puzzle’s seasonal debut was in a 305 metres race at Nottingham on 11th February. Romeo You Decide clocked the track distance in 18.47 seconds while leading by 3 ¼ lengths. Fabulous Puzzle finished the race third.
The next two races were winless as he finished second and then third.
Fabulous Puzzle won through the fourth start of the season in a Grade A3 500 metres flat by timing the track distance in 30.70 seconds and leading by a significant 8 ¼ lengths. Joining the winner on the other end of the wire in 31.36 seconds was the runner
up Cool Biko.
Securing the third position behind the winner was the 9/4 favourite of the race Bodell Gift.
Fabulous Puzzle could not attach anymore strings to the only victory that she posted on her profile as she finished third in the next start that came her way. The winner of the race was Angelic Lottie, the 11/10 favourite winner of the race who reached the
other end of the wire in 30.45 seconds.
Standing out as the runner up was Tynwald Nero.
Her second and till yet last win was in a Grade A2 500 metres flat on 9th March at Nottingham. It took Fabulous Puzzle 30.66 seconds to complete the trip while the 5/4 favourite winner led the track by five and a half lengths.
Today is her chance to strike the third victory of the season through the eighth start of the season.
