Face Paint Laws? (Just a small question)

Question

I was wondering if one could wear face paint into public without getting prosecuted. I mean, is it illegal to paint your face up and walk out into public? How about walking into a place like the mall or a gas station?

I don't know why it would be a problem. People get tattoos all over their faces and aren't refused service....  unless it is something disturbing I would think it's ok.
