Does a face powder like Rimmel Stay Matte actually help to keep the shine off skin?

  1. Yes, well at least in comparison to a standard powder.  Most of the "anti-shine" powders on the market contain some sort of starch derivative which helps to absorb the oil.  That said, you can still plan on touching up at least your T-zone area every several hours or so.

  2. yep i used to use it but now ive moved to the US i find maybelline matte pressed powder really good and if you can buy a big blush brush to apply it cos it blends in better!

  3. I'm not sure about the Rimmel one, but I recommend mark.'s MATTE-NIFICIENT Oil-absorbing powder ($8). It leaves your skin even-toned adn shine-free.
