Question:

Face Shine Pads or wash?

I was wondering if there are such things as pads that take the shine off of your face without ruining your foundation and makeup...if so what brands our there?

Also, is there any type of wash or something I can use (without beads) to keep the shine away throughout the whole day?

  1. I don't have this problem but my aunt used to big time. My cousin got a job at Origins and it has been the best thing to ever happen to my family. :)

I had bad acne and the Spot Remover cleared it up. Then the thing your going to be interested in is:

    --------------------------------------...

Zero Oil® Instant matte finish for shiny places

When everyday hassles like heat, humidity, or stress send already overzealous oil glands into overdrive, skin faces a surplus of shine, looks dingy, feels totally tacky. Breakouts are apt to blossom. Nature’s master-mattifiers, including oil-foiling Silicates, astringent Winterbloom, plus calming Chinese Camphor, instantly zero in skin-spoiling oil and blot up greasy shine without overdrying. Creates a smooth, invisible finish that stays matte all day. There are no streaks on cheeks. And forehead, chin and nose show positively no glow.

HOW TO USE: Shake well. Apply under or over makeup.

Zero Oil® is ideal for all skin types.

    --------------------------------------...

Zero oil is $12 a bottle then if you don't live near an origins store you have to pay the shipping. It is worth it tho. Origins stuff looks like there isn't that much but the stuff goes a LONG way. My aunt uses her Zero Oil every day and only buys a new bottle once a month to once every two months!

Hope this helps and good luck with your skin!

  2. There is paper. Is has a powdered side which mops up excess oil. You get them in superdrug. 65 sheets for about a pound. Shine Control Sheets, cant remember the brand though. x

  3. I use Clean and Clear shine wipes. They come in a little blue package.

I know Biore has a shine wash but I don't know how well it works.
