Facebook: Sending a mass mail/message...?

Question

It has to be possible to send a message to all of your friends at once... but... is it? Without having to type each name into the "TO" box?

btw: I know there is a sending limit... how about if you have just over a thousand friends? There's got to be a way to do it.......

You should just create an event or something, then add all the people you're trying to reach

No it's not. You're going to have to type each name into the "to box."

And yes you're right, if you send a message to all your friends at once you WILL be disabled. Just over a thousand friends is WAY over the limit if you try to send to all your friends.
