Facebook automated Birthday Message?

Unless I'm mistaken, people on Facebook can send people Happy Birthday messages on the birthday person's wall without having to write and send it, it does it automatically. If so, how do I do that?

I haven't heard of that. The best way to tell someone Happy Birthday on Facebook is to write on their wall.

It's better that way, because if you were able to send some "automated" birthday message, it wouldn't be personal. If you're just gonna leave it generic, you might as well not say Happy Birthday at all. :)
