Facebook friend requests ignored? what?

I got in a arguement with someone i know and told him im not mad anymore. and friend requested him. it hasnt been accepted..its all in grey saying "friend requested" whats going on? he has accepted another person after me.

if it still says "friend requested" that means he hasnt accepted or ignored yet. He probably hasnt been on Facebook/checked his requests. If he ignores it, it will give you an option to add him again.

It could be that he hasn't done anything with your request (maybe he's not sure if he should add you or not) but I think the more likely reason is a facebook bug.

Every so often, I get reports / questions about these type of things (ie. a person still hasn't accepted/delined my request while he did with someone else). It has also happened to me on a couple of occassions. I ask the person and they said they never got my request.

Then one day, they get it, and we become facebook friends.

In your situation I would wait a while longer. If still no dice, either ask him directly, or contact facebook about this potential bug.

Maybe...unfortunately...he doesn't want to add you as a friend. Don't take it to heart, it is just a website that has seemingly taken over people's lives and turned them insane trying to get as many friends as possible...speaking from experience with 140-odd on my account (mind you I know every single one of them, so it's not as bad).

Don't take it to heart if he doesn't want to add you, it's his site not yours.
