Facebook instant message?

which instant messenger on facebook is the one that pops up on the bottom right part of your screen? im looking for it on the applications but i cant seem to find the right one.

Mine was just automatically there, have you updated to the new facebook?? or look at your preferences.

Sounds like the chat that is built in to Facebook.  If you have and up-to-date browser with up-to-date Flash, there should be a little man silhouette at the bottom right of your screen.  Click it and choose "go online."  You can see which friends are online by clicking the "Online Friends" rectangle.  If not there, look for a little square with dialog bubbles on the right hand side near the top.  Click it to launch a pop up chat window.  You might need to click the "go online" link.  If this isn't what you're looking for, I'm not really sure which application you're talking about.

its not an application, it is just part of facebook. when you click on that button in the bottom right to see which of your friends are online, when that list pops up if you click on one of their names it will start the facebook instant message

it's not an application. it should already be there and then you just click on the red dot and then "go online". then you'll be ready to chat it up.

It's not an application. It's just there with your facebook account.

Facebook IM is not a application. It is just a feature of BOTH new and old Facebook. However, you will need a current version of Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.

You can see your online contacts (which are also your friends) by clicking the box on the bottom of your screen titled "Online Friends (#)". There then will a box appear right above the box showing all of your online friends and your idle online friends. Just click on one of your friends to start chatting. The chat box will open to the left of where the contact list use to be. You then will be able to chat with any of your Facebook friends whenever they are online.

yes, it's on the bottom right and btw it is not an extra application, it's part of everyone's facebook and it's called 'Chat'
