Facebook privacy Question?

I want to confirm i am attending an event on facebook but i dont want it to show up on a few peoples news feeds as I'm supposed to be attending there event instead. Is there anyway of editing privacy settings without removing/blocking these people?

I don't think so if you already allowed Facebook to

"publish stories in your news feed and  mini-feed" when you first added that application.  I don't know how and if  you can return to that page and uncheck that option.

why don't you just message the person who's event you're going to and tell them you're attending
