Question

on facebook youre able to confirm your account by giving your phone number. does anyone know if anyone has acess to your phone number if you enter it? what do they need it for and do you recieve random calls or texts like advertisements or no? i'd apreciate it if you give me some info on this. thankss =]

no they need it to make sure you don't make multiple accounts... its easier to make multiple email addresses than it is to make multiple phone numbers... they don't message i don't think and it won't charge you if they do. its just a security measure

You have to hide it. When you enter your phone number. You have to go back to Edit Profile & Then in one of the tabs it will have your number then you have to set it as that only you can see your phone number. If not others will able able to see it.
