  1. uhh, ask someone to watch your facial expressions.

i cant really help you unless i am seeing it.

from what i hear, i think that you are trying too hard.

the thing with acting, is that it must be natural.

you have to be your character.

don't think about if you are doing facial expressions right or wrong, think about being that person.

see, when i play a character, i write out what this person would do, and what they would say, find out where they grew up.

you have to pay attention to detail.

so don't think about your facial expressions, someone would say you're doing it wrong if you were.

    so just be natural!

    :D

    good luck!

  2. i just get as much into my character as humanly possible (which i honestly can do quite well) and then it just all goes from there

  3. facial expressions means to know more about it.

  4. its easier to makefacial expressions when you try to feel what your trying to look like, you can always use mirrors to try to improve you expressions

  5. practice in the mirror making faces and think about what you would do if you were angry, sad, ect

  6. All I can say is - relax your face and stimulate your feelings. Reflect on the character you are trying to become and let that flow naturally to your expressions... ie.. don't think too hard on what you are trying to portray, but rather, actually become that person, live the character you want to portray.

  7. just try to overdo it if you know what i mean. don't go completely crazy but just do a normal expression like in everyday life then step it up a bit. also try to make your acting seem real on stage.

  8. try practicing in front of a mirror, and work on really thinking on the emotion.  i had this same problem and this worked for me.
