  1. In this setting it would be a great help to you to know your state and local laws, In some states it is legal to like Oregon.

In others it is illegal to no matter if there is a one way on both sides.

You have to know for you in your state and city, when in doubt, call DMV or your attorney

  2. if the light is red then you cannot go in any direction until the light is green

  3. According to the law i believe that its not ok to do so; however, logically it makes sense that it would be ok to do so.

  4. In Arizona, Yes, from a One Way to a One Way.

  5. This really will depend on your local traffic laws.  Check with your state DMV/DOT and or local cops.  In some places, left on Red is allowed so long as it is a left onto a one way street.

In other places, left on red is never allowed at all (which is weird, and silly).  So you'll really have to look at any local statutes.  I have also been in some places where the state says left turns on Red are OK (on one way streets only) but localities (towns and cities) have their own ordinances that say otherwise.

  6. No..........sorry that would be illegal to do....

  7. It depends on your local laws, and I've only seen it on some one ways to one ways (left.) I'd only do it if there was a sign that said "left on red after stop" as I've seen in some cities.

  8. no

  9. Not at all, it's never OK to turn left on a red light.

  10. it is okay to turn left on a red light only in these circumstances:

you are on a one way road and pass the intersection it is still one way.

  11. the only time that you can turn left at a red light  is from a oneway to a oneway

  12. it is in OREGON.

    dont know about your state.....

  13. only if the street your tuning left on to is also on way ( my mom has that situation on her street)

  14. If a driver is driving along a one way street and intends to make a left turn on a red light onto another one way street, this is legal, (where I live....in B.C. Canada), as long as you stop first and it is then safe to make your turn.

You can not turn left on a red light if you are turning left from a two way street, or if you are turning onto a two way street.

Check the laws where you live because they do vary from place to place regarding turning on a red light (left or right).

  15. It is never legal to make a left on red.
