Facing of speakers?

i have 2 12 " subs in the back of my cab (chevy silverado)...would speakers sound better pointing towards the front, or facing the back?

well it depnds on whther you want to hear the sound or if you want others to hear it if you face them forward they will be louder to you but you will also hear all the small noises ive found that faceing them bacward they sound better to you and every one else.
