  1. Most Universities and employers accept distance learning if proper qualification. Do GCSE,A Level, Degree.

Be careful with some distance learning certificates or diplomas from obscure providers. They may not be recognised. Make sure any diploma is by recognised body.

Some employers think that it shows you are a hard worker and can work independently. This is a positive.

I know several people who have gained Degree,Post Graduates by distance learning and have done very well in their career.

  2. I'm not sure which courses you're looking at but most Higher education distance courses carry good weight alongside full time courses. I'm on my third year of Open Univeristy working towards my degree. So long as you use a reputable institution your courses will be taken seriously. Employers tend to look kindly on distance qualifications if you're working as it shows you have the dedication and commitment to work hard and fulfill your ambitions.

Always check what qualification you come out with and what level it's at. You're better off doing courses at Level 2 (GCSE) and above.

    Good luck with your studies.

  3. I dont know which specific courses you are talking about, but universities and colleges do distant learning which has the same credos as the on campus courses. In fact, many employees consider them to be a better qualification because you need more discipline to do them. make sure whatever you do is a credible place with a good reputation. ask around before signing up.

  4. if they are a recognised qualification there is no difference between distance learning and conventional qualifications.
