  1. Oi, I forgot how to factor "!" ?  


  2. Factor by grouping.....

    (2x^3+x^2)(-4x-2)

    lowest common factor of the first group is x^2.....

    x^2(2x+1)

    then factor (2x+1) out of the 2nd group (-4x-2).....

    that gives you

    -2(2x+1)

    then combine the expressions in front of the parentheses and leave the 2nd the way it is......

    this gives you:

    (x^2-2)(2x+1)

    =)
