  1. (xsquared + 9) * (xsquared + 4)

  2. (x^2+4)(x^2+9)

  3. x^4 + 13x^2 + 36

    (x² + a)(x² + b)

We need to find two numbers (a & b) where their sum is 13 and their product is 36.  The only numbers that meet these requirements are 9 and 4.

    (x² + 9)(x² + 4)

Can either of these be factored any further? What do you think?
