It runs from Shibuya to Nagasaki. Built in 1948 after the war, it was the only transportation route between these two major cities. It has more traffic than any other road in the country. (The number of people who use it varies every day.) Some little known facts: When it was first constructed, it was only a one lane highway! Also, in Shibuya it is known as Nagasaki Way, but in Nagasaki, it is referred to as Shibuya Road!
