  1. My mom had me at 17

and didnt want the same for me, so she educated me on s*x at a young age. But the younger you talk to them the better.

If you dont do it, they will hear it at school or on TV and be misinformed or confused.

And the average age for starting periods is around 13 or so.

  2. I know kids that start around 7 or eight but some as late as 17

  3. girls can start their periods anywhere from 8 or 9 to 15 or 16. I think you always tell the truth but only a small amount of info for small kids like  " mommy and daddy  love each other and made a new baby" then as they get older you can add more truth to it.

  4. My mom was always very open with me when it came to these things. She had to be I suppose... I was almost fully developed in 3rd grade.

I got my period when I was 9. So I'm glad she was truthful.

  5. an average child starts their period between the ages 10-14. It mostly depends on their heritage though. they could also  start at 8,9,or up to 16. and it would be perfecty healthy. but if your daughter hasn't started their period by 16 you should tell their doctor. I started mine at age 11 before my friends. When to tell your child depends on their personalty too not just their age. I would try age 9.

  6. All kids are different but on average girls start there period round 12 but it can happen as young as 8. As for the facts of life you really need to go on there level of development, whats good for one 10 yr old may not be for another.  I talk regulary about periods and puberty in front of my 10yr and 7yr old so when the time comes it wont be so uncomfortable for them.  A good guide is to remember yourself at there age and think bout what you would have liked to be told.
