i just want facts that you understand about the CONSTELLATION NOT about the ZODIAC SIGN facts that are understandable that even a child could get i went to websites but it is hard to get the information that they give you so i only want facts tiny facts maybe a paragraph or two but thats all just something that will give you an idea of what the constellation is

it is visible from the middle northern hemisphere in July and August, low down towards the south, and the Sun is situated in Sagittarius between 22nd November and 22nd December. Sagittarius is remarkable for its dense star-clouds and brilliant clusters. The Milky Way runs through the constellation, which lies in the direction of the centre of the Galaxy.

In the Sagittarius you will find the red supergiant start Antares ( which means Rival of Mars) Also when you are looking at Sagittarius you are looking in the direction of the center of the Milky Way Galaxy. On a dark night with binoculars you can see amazing clusters of stars and gigantic gas clouds.
