Fadeintoinfinity, the one to beat in SKF Rous Selling Stakes at York
Fadeintoinfinity was unlucky to miss the top position by a short head’s distance at Redcar and would look to come up with an improved show in the SKF Rous Selling Stakes, scheduled to take place at York on Friday, June 15, 2012.
The 2-year-old has been making constant progress since the start of her career. After finishing fourth at Haydock, the bay filly improved her work significantly, displaying a wonderful show last time.
British Stallion Studs Supporting British Racing E B F Median Auction Maiden Fillies' Stakes saw her showing a fabulous effort in the early stages of the event. Since she could not enhance her speed in the final moments, the 13-8 favourite narrowly missed
the gold medal.
The conditions are slightly testing this time, but still Fadeintoinfinity has an obvious chance of performing decently today. Among her opponents are:
Fly Fisher, Jamesbo´s Girl, Severn Bore, Vanessa, Reconsider Baby, Mad Jazz, Balinka, Haaf´n Haaf, Old Man Clegg, Edith Anne, Shop Til You Drop, Special Report, Zero Rated and Mill End Dancer.
The aforementioned runners will compete for a cash prize worth £6,469. According to the schedule, the class 4 meeting will be kicked off at 15:40 (GMT). The going is good to soft for the 6-furlong event and with some giants in the line-up, an exciting contest
is on the cards.
Fly Fisher has been performing consistently since the start of this season, but luck is not on his side these days. Richard Fahey’s trainee has a good chance of making an improvement, but cannot be trusted blindly.
Jamesbo's Girl was runner-up on her debut at Redcar last month. However, stepping up to this class will put her under enormous pressure. Similar is the case with Severn Bore, who has two back-to-back wins under his belt.
After crushing his rivals at Redcar, Bill Turner’s showed an equally good performance at Warwick. Vanessa is also stepping up to this class after an excellent success at Musselburgh.
Although Fadeintoinfinity is yet to open her account and needs plenty of improvement to stand first, she is the clear pick. We wish the best of luck to all runners.
