Fadil Ramadhani advances into Men’s Singles third round at Djarum Sirnas Flypower Jakarta Open
Indonesia’s Fadil Ramadhani powers his way into next stage after beating Farhan Exist in Men’s Singles second round at Djarum Sirnas Flypower Jakarta Open 2012 at Jakarta, Indonesia, on Wednesday, May 16.
Ramadhani was flawless in his playing approach as he put up remarkable show on crucial points in the whole contest and managed to register victory over his spirited team-mate in a sensational fashion.
The in-form Ramadhani had to put everything he had in the fight and emerged as the winner in hard-fought three games of 40 minutes with a decent margin on the score board.
On the other hand, Farhan showed his brilliance in the opening two games but he could not maintain his positive run in the deciding game and lost to his compatriot with a respectable score.
In the first game of this Men’s Singles contest, both men provided an amazing entertainment to the home fans by playing to their maximum potential and remained close on the board until the one-minute break.
After the interval, they remained consistent in the perfect execution of their strokes and reached at 20-20 when Ramadhani took over the control and score the ending points to finish the game with a 22-20 margin on the board.
In the second game, Farhan put up stunning show of positive and aggressive badminton as he played with impressive speed and managed a reasonable gap until the mid-game interval.
After the break, Ramadhani employed all of his skills but failed to overpower his opponent and eventually lost the set with a 16-21 score on the board.
In the deciding game, Ramadhani changed his game plan and took over the control from his spirited challenger. Until the break, he was sailing smoothly on the board without facing any problem.
After the one-minute interval, Ramadhani remained on track and also maintained his upper hand over his opponent. He played with precision and bagged the game with a 21-13 score on the board.
The in-form Ramadhani won this Men’s Singles three-set contest by taking 40 minutes in the court with a thrilling margin of 22-20, 16-21 and 21-13.
