  1. wash them on warm water instead of hot water if your warm water is a little to warm then wash them on cold water and then turn your timer back around to the full cycle and they still get the same amount of wash time hope it helps you out

  2. To keep them from fading you need to have them dry cleaned. It the only way. It's also expensive. You'd be better off to buy new ones. If you want to wash them use cold water. It will help keep the fading process down.

  3. Jeans fade as the blue thread looses some of it's color from wear and from the beating they get in the washer (jeans are made with dark blue and white threads woven together).  To keep your jeans from fading, wash them wrong side out in cold water with a special cold water detergent.  I really can not tell how many trips it takes for jeans to begin to fade, it depends on the dye lot and the way they are washed.

  4. 1. Any piece of cotton/denim clothing will fade over time. Water, combined with detergent, will cause the dyes used to color clothing to wash out.

    2. All depends on the clothing. I've had jeans fade in as little as 5 washings.

    3. Washing in cold water, use a color-safe detergent, and turn the jeans inside out before washing & drying. This won't prevent them from fading, but it will delay the process.

  5. Jeans just fade over time. if you wash them inside out using a liquid delicate detergent. You can actually buy a specialist jeans detergent called jeans wash. whoch could work. use cold or warm water and DO NOT TUMBLE DRY. when you tumble dry jeans all the blue and black gets melted into the dryer and stains it;. hang them outside to dry or inside on airers and you will have alot more use out of them
