Question:

Fafsa Awards with Full Family Contribution - anyone know how much you get?

Last year, fafsa awarded me 2250 each semester because my family was expected to contribute all of my expenses. I heard that this changes as you earn more hours. Last year I had like 56 at the time I applied and now I have 78. So can anyone tell me based on my hours how much I'm supposed to receive this year per semester? I know it's written out in some nice little convenient chart out there online but I just can't find it. Thanks!

  1. If your EFC is 78 your Pell grant for the whole year would be $4,684.00 or 2,342.00 in the fall and again in the spring if you go full time and meet about a million other qualifications.  You will prob also qualify for Work Study and Student loans if you want them.  You might also get FSEOG and state grant money if you did your fafsa early enough.

    Hope this helps.
