  1. Given your past history, it is very unlikely that you will make it through college in engineering.  High school is a breeze compared to college level engineering courses and if you had trouble in high school, then it is unlikely that you will be able to do it.  Anyway, I'm not trying to burst your bubble, but it isn't very realistic to think it will happen.

However, if you are really set on this idea and very devoted, you could go for it anyway.  You need to start putting your plan into action right now and work very hard in 12th grade.  Do the best that you can and see if you do better in math.

Then, if you improve your grades, you may be able to get into a public college, and from there, you can try majoring in engineering and see how it goes.  The main thing is that you need to be willing to work hard and study to learn everything you need to know.

However, somebody who is failing 12th grade math is unlikely to make it through physics, differential equations, thermodynamics, etc, and I tend to agree with your counselor.  I highly doubt you can do it, and you will probably want a back-up plan even if you do try to pursue this goal.

  2. maths is very important for whatever course you take.might be it dosen't count for aerospace(of which i have no idea)but  having poor marks from 9th onwards won't support your engeneering dream.just think of something else.there still many more things to study .

  3. first... chillout..

you ll have to repeat 12th right..

so repeat it and do it well.. get a super score in ur math and science..

then.. get a super score in sat..

all this requires hard work.. then apply to a coll in us..

do some extra curiies too.. u may not get a super coll.. but if things go well .. u can land up in a good one..

you don need to apply to engineering.. you can always go there and change take the req courses..'

so chillout.. study.. apply.. u can always explain your prev performance and tell them u ve been working hard lately and willing to do the same..

  4. Engineering requires strong math and reasoning skills. Engineering is very mentally trying, sometimes physically trying. You'll have to work really hard to improve your math, science, and logic skills. If you work hard enough, perhaps you have a chance in pursuing a career in Aerospace engineering.

  5. u can get vel tech aero
