Failed drug test for lsd at meps ?

I failed the drug test for LSD on the meps drug screen. I have never taken LSD or have been around it. Is it possible that it could have been something i ate or what.

Those tests are generally pretty accurate so if it says you had LSD in your system, then there is a good chance that you did.  Did you ingest anything recently that made you feel nauseous, euphoric, or just "off"?

The tests generally work in three phases depending on if they pop hot or not.  The first one is the initial urine test and is fairly accurate, say on the order of 97% or more.  If this tests positive, then the sample is then sent off for an additional test that is more accurate, but also more costly.  If this too gives a positive result, then the sample is again sent off for a final and very expensive test that is pretty near 100% accurate.

So basically, if they said you had LSD in your system, then you had it.  The question now is how did it get there?

EDIT: To papito.  The belief that LSD remains in the spinal fluid of human beings is a popular urban legend.  In reality, LSD is metabolized by the liver and is out of your system within a few days.  It does not remain in the spinal fluid.

did anyone put tape on u ... or did u have s*x with any1 before you left..  someone might have put tape on you and it had some lsd on it.. or an acid stamp.. if someone is on lsd and they sweat and u touch it you can even get some of the effects also if you kissed someone that had taken it or had s*x with them .. ive heard of this before

LSD will only stay in your urine for 24-48 hours.

MEPS will test for it, but it is a three step process. so within the last 48 hours you must have had LSD.

it is in anti-depressnets and such.

lsd stays in your system for a couple of days. People say it stays in your spinal fluid so unless you got a spinal tap, I dont know how you got caught. What are you gonna do about this?

That doesn't make much sense.  From my understanding the only way you can test for LSD is through a spinal tap.  I would get a second opinion on this.
