  1. There are many wireless router in the market which is plug and play router modem without drivers, why search for drivers and firmware binary files sold from the websites, when 2wire HGV 2700 and 2701 does not need any drivers can act as a wired and wireless router modem, all you need is just plug and play, without splitting hairs and losing money on drivers/softwares to support your hardwares. Thoo suggestions go for a wired or wireless router that is operating system(windows/mac) independant so that whenever there is o/s(windows/mac) version upgrades and can run on multiplatform (windows/mac) without switching and buying software drivers upgrade every year, may be costly in the future if your national currency is depreciating or stagnant against foreign gold bars upgrading currency in the international bank to revalue our money.

You can stay-on in the firmware driver dependant router if you like spending time with computers and being patient

if you know that the router you choose can only be exculsive to certain platforms, not inclusive of all o/s platforms.

Remember it depends on the location and the vendor or website of the firmware drivers you download and not all drivers are guaranteed to work on connectivity depending on the source of upgrades and the support you needed on multi-o/s-technology platforms

  2. Try holding the reset button in for 30 seconds and see if that helps.
