  1. Honestly, there is nothing to worry about.

By far the worst thing in an important exam is to feel over-nervouse (like i always do).

I miss questions out in exams and have come out with ok grades so i am sure you will be fine.

Also, i understand that it can be difficult to keep in the time limit, but the most important thing is to try and answer all of the questions, even if they are a complete guess - then at least you have a chance of getting it right.

You could also get one of your family members to keep testing you on the things you know you find hard, like in French, my parents constantly ask me the same words that i always forget.

Another way to improve, especially with revision, is to set yourself goals!  Say that you will do half an hour of revision and then be allowed to go call your mate for 15 mins or go and get some fresh air.  This makes you feel that you have done something worthwhile as well.

The BEST thing to do for your exams is get some PRACTICE TESTS.  I know these questions will probably not come up again in another paper, but they are often very similar questions from year to year and the practicing of certain types of question really helps when it comes to the real thing.  E.g. in my maths, i did virtually all practice papers for my revision, and so when it came to the non-calc exam basically in all the questions you had to apply the same methods and rules in past papers, although the numbers given were different.

Hope this helps (and reassures) you! xx

Good luck and i'm sure you'll be fine. Just think positively and don't get too nervous. x

  2. i did my last GCSE today,

to be honest, keep a nice face on, and all employers will be fine, after doing my gcse's my parents tell me that

    why not 2 months before?

  3. I'm no A* student either. A levels are more important than GCSEs. You can get other qualifications elsewhere in life. GCSEs don't determine your whole future.

  4. Try: http://gcse.com for help/tips.

  5. Seriously, i am like a C grade student and i'll probably fail a few GCSE's. However i was put into a school which was far too hard for me and i'm being forced into Higher Tier.

But anyway, my dad got C's and D's, my mum got U's and E's and my dad is doing a job where he earns like at LEAST £100'000 A year, and my mum i dunno but it's a really good job.

Plus, someone who gets like A's in my school will probably end up in a dead-end job because of her character and her attitude, plus she doesnt try hard anyway.

U know, you'll probably be sad about it for a while, then you'll get over it when u realise GCSE's aren't the be all and end all.

Trust me, dont worry lol, oh and if its any concelation my sister did the wrong question on one of ehrs, losin 25 marks. Only a select FEW get A*'s and stuff. But when u look at the alphabet... A B C - c isn't that far down. I think C is a great grade! Personally i think the pass mark should be like an E .. lol :D
