Failing chicago public schools?

i am worried that my son will fail. he has 3 c on his report card for reading but now he got a f on his progress report. is he failing? what is the average grade to pass?

Your son is not failing yet. I would start to worry if he repeatedly receives Ds or Fs for most of his grades. As long as he is pulling in mainly Cs he should be ok.
