I know people fail because of injuries, too much stress, quiting, failing drug test. etc..but I also read that alot of people fail in the rifle part of recruit training..is it that hard.

  1. Some fail boot camp entirely due to disciplinary reasons, not meeting training standards or because of severe injuries/medical conditions. But out of those who fail to graduate on time many graduate later on with the following company they're with. Rifle qual. is challenging in a sense that it involves attention to detail like not paying attention to setting the correct elevation, shooting the wrong target, etc. When I was at boot camp, no one was dropped for failing rifle qual. In my platoon we had 1 that was dropped for failing multiple practice PFTs, and 2 for medical reasons.

  2. Most people fail because they strong will and refuse to let some r****d tell them what do.  You will go in and push your sefl to the max for the corp, but think if you spend that same time and effort investing in yourself.  the weak one will try to kill themsefl or play crazy.  In boot camp drill instructor are a*****e because it is there job. Outside boot camp they are a*****e for fun.

  3. well we had 250 people and everybody qualified on the first day.  Its not that hard, all you have to do is the mechanics...the 4 rules and its no problem...

  4. Its actually hard to fail in rifle range..

If you do not qualify you get several chances to pass again..If you continue to fail you get dropped to the platoon behind you..Female platoons are not back to back so it may be different for you..

If you continue to fail then you can be kicked out for failing to qualify with your weapon..
