Failure to diagnose- Medical negligence leg fracture

Question

I had seen a orthopedic doctor whom did not see me right away because they requested my no-fault insurance, even though i had state insurance, When i went and saw the orthopedic 10 days after car accident, with leg, foot and ankles swollen in a split cast, i was told i had no leg fractures, and to be full weight bearing and not use splint cast. A month later I found out I did have leg fractures. .Can I sue for failure to diagnose and medical negligence. If i would have been treated correctly my injury could of took a better healing course.
